How to get to Heringsdorf:

The seaside resort of Heringsdorf lies on the island of Usedom. You will find this place in the most northeastern area of Germany at the border of Western Pomerania and Poland. Just have a look at the following maps:

There are two bridges which connect Usedom to the mainland: One is situated near the town of Anklam, the other one at Wolgast. The bridge at Wolgast is even used by both road and rail traffic. For this reason it is not very difficult to get to the island by car and by train. If you prefer going by train your journey will end up at Heringsdorf´s railway station. Travelling by plane is the fastest and most comfortable way of getting to the island of Usedom: A small airport is located about 10 km south of the seaside resort of Heringsdorf.
